Just becuase you are gluten free doesn't mean you can't go out to eat or have muffins...or pizza...or bread. You just need to know where to find it and how to make it.
After running into a few "new" gluten-free people in the last month, I've decided to put my experience (and taste testing proof) to good work. I started this journey in December of 2005, and it's a lot of information to pass on to someone in the supermarket or at work. The best I can do is share some of what I've learned along the way, and hopefully be able to help someone else.
Hopefully this helps. The blogs are organized and labeled: Success (good product/try), Needs Work (not so good product/try), contamination (dealing with keeping from cross-contamination in foods), and Eating Out.
Oh, and I'm Kristin, and that's my husband Tim in the picture with me...He eats normal food, and is my official taste-tester. Sometimes I don't know whether food really tastes like the real thing or not, because it's been so long...
